Cleary, Shearman Advise Argentina, Brazil Work


Cleary, Shearman advise on Samurai bond settlement, CVS deal.

Shearman & Sterling advised US-based CVS on its sale of Brazilian pharmacy chain Onofre to its larger rival Raia Drogasil for an undisclosed amount.

Meanwhile, Cleary Gottlieb represented Argentina in settling so called Samurai Bonds that were defaulted in 2011 by the then-government of the South American country.
