Law Firms Advise Latin America Deals

Baker & McKenzie, Covington & Burling and Skadden are advising the $724 million Advent International purchase of 51 percent of Argentina's leading payments company Prisma from a group of 14 Argentinian banks and Visa International, while Cleary Gottlieb and Latham & Watkins are advising on Spain-based telecom giant Telefónica’s sale of its Guatemala and El Salvador business to its rival, Mexico-based América Móvil for $648 million.
