More Latin American companies face class-action U.S. securities lawsuits.

In the wake of the Petrobras litigation, more Latin American companies are facing class-action U.S. securities lawsuits based on allegations that these companies purportedly failed to disclose corrupt practices and misrepresented the quality of their internal anti-corruption controls in U.S. securities offerings (including ADR offerings), Julie Bédard, head of the International Arbitration Group for the Americas for US law firm Skadden, tells Latinvex.
