Latin America Wireless: Mexico Up, Brazil Down


Latin America overall sees slight decrease in wireless subscriptions.

Mexico saw the strongest growth in wireless subscriptions in Latin America last year in real terms, while Brazil saw the worst decline, according to a Latinvex analysis of data from the International Telecommunications Union (ITU).

Meanwhile, Peru and Cuba are the fastest-growing wireless markets in Latin America for the second year in a row in percentage terms.
