Cleary, Jones Day, Paul Hastings Advise on Mexico Bond

Largest green bond offering in dollars in the history of green bonds.

Cleary Gottlieb, Jones Day and Paul Hastings advised on the Mexican government’s $4 billion green bond offer to finance construction of the new Mexico City international airport.

The new offering represents the largest green bond offering in dollars in the history of green bonds, and the largest 30-year bond issuance in the year for Latin America and has obtained a rating of Baa1, BBB+, BBB+ (Moody's, S&P, Fitch), as well GB1 by Moody’s and E1 by S&P for a sustainable transaction.
