Latin America: CEO Optimism Despite Challenges


Insurance, logistics and technology upbeat on outlook in Latin America.

Despite the economic slowdown in Latin America, many CEOs remain upbeat about the region’s outlook this year.

“We have a positive outlook for Latin America,” says James Dwane, President and CEO of Latin America and the Caribbean for US-based insurance company AIG.

Claudio Muruzabal, President of Latin America and Caribbean for Germany-based software producer SAP, agrees. We are very optimistic of Latin America’s potential going into 2016,” he says.

“The 2016 outlook for the business landscape in Latin America looks promising,” says Romaine Seguin, President of the Americas for US-based logistics company UPS.
