Latinvex 500: The Technology Companies
Latin America’s top 25 technology companies.
BY LATINVEX STAFF
The top 25 technology companies in Latin America had an overall bad year, with revenues falling by 19.3 percent and profits by 71 percent.
The revenue decline was largely due to a 21 percent fall in Latin America sales at Spain-based Telefonica, the second-largest technology company in the region. Also, NII Holding’s revenue fall impacted the overall results.
However, some companies –
including Mexico-based America Movil – posted revenue gains.
