Latin America: Internet Ads Jump


Argentina leads the way, while Brazil sees little or no growth.

Argentina will pass both Brazil and Mexico as Latin America’s largest market for Internet advertisements, starting next year, according to UK-based ad agency ZenithOptimedia. One beneficiary: Clarin, the media group under attack from the Argentine government of President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner.

Meanwhile, Chile, Colombia and Mexico will also see healthy growth in online ad spending, the agency predicts.
